We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy healthcare-focused call center in Brooklyn, New York. This Contract position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, handles a high volume of interactions with professionalism, and provides dependable service to customers over the phone. The person in this role will assist callers with questions, process information accurately, and help create a positive service experience in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:• Respond to incoming calls promptly and assist customers with questions, concerns, and service-related requests.
• Enter orders and update customer information with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Handle both inbound and outbound phone communication to support customer needs and follow up on open issues.
• Provide courteous, solution-focused service while maintaining professionalism during high-volume call activity.
• Document conversations, actions taken, and relevant account details in the appropriate systems.
• Escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team members when additional support or resolution is needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service processes and follow established call center procedures.
• Support operational changes or workflow updates as needed, including adjustments to internal tools or processes.• Prior experience in customer service or call center support is required.
• Ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while maintaining a positive and attentive tone.
• Experience with order entry and accurate data input in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable making outbound calls for follow-up, clarification, or customer support purposes.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage time effectively during busy periods.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems and customer service platforms.
• Experience in healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environments is preferred.
