Customer Service Representative

Our client is seeking a personable and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. This individual will be responsible for assisting customers with questions, orders, account information, and general support while providing a positive and professional customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing a high volume of customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Provide timely and accurate information regarding products, services, orders, and account questions
• Assist customers with placing, updating, and tracking orders
• Research and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service-related issues
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation within internal systems
• Process order changes, returns, credits, and other customer requests as needed
• Follow up with customers to ensure questions and concerns are resolved
• Partner with internal departments to resolve customer issues and provide timely updates
• Build positive relationships with customers through professional and responsive communication
• Identify and escalate more complex customer concerns when appropriate
• Maintain knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures
• Meet established customer service, quality, and productivity expectations
• Assist with additional administrative and customer support responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service, call center, administrative support, or related experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of calls, emails, and customer requests
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and learning new technology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• CRM or customer service software experience is a plus
• Ability to problem-solve and remain professional when handling challenging situations
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus
