Experience: 2 years recent experience required; 2 years of work history required for non-local candidates.

License: Active New York RN license

Certifications: NIH, AHA BLS

Must-Have: Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Description: This position is in a large, high-acuity emergency department with 80 treatment spaces in a modern environment. The team is experienced, collaborative, and supportive. Leadership is strong and there is a focus on high-quality patient care. Specialized geriatric emergency care is provided, with accreditation from the appropriate governing body. Weekend requirements include one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Employees must be willing to work at least one holiday per contract. A rotating blocked schedule can be requested. On-call shifts are not required but highly recommended. May complete 32 to 44 hours on average, with about 2 hours of call per contracted week. On-call shifts occur overnight and can be picked up in various hour blocks. Charting is performed using the appropriate electronic health record system.
