This role partners cross-functionally to translate commercial activity into reliable financial outcomes while leading and developing a high-performing revenue accounting team.**Your Role:******Revenue Recognition & Compliance:****Oversee revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, including review of customer contracts, amendments, and complex arrangements; ensure appropriate accounting treatment and documentation.****Month-End Close & Reporting:****Manage revenue-related close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparation of management and external reporting.****F********orecasting, Budgeting & KPI Management:****Partner with FP&A and business leaders to support revenue forecasting, budgeting, and tracking of specialty-level KPIs such as ARR, churn, and net revenue retention.****Cross-Functional Partnership & Deal Support****Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Deal Desk on deal structuring, pricing changes, and contract reviews to ensure revenue accuracy and compliance.****Team Leadership & Development** Lead:**Mentor, and review the work of revenue accountants and analysts; set priorities, provide feedback, and support career development.****Audit, Controls & Risk Management:****Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors on revenue matters; maintain and enhance internal controls and SOX compliance where applicable.****Process Improvement & Strategic Projects:****Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and reporting; support M&A, system implementations, and other strategic initiatives.**Skills & Requirements:*** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field* Minimum: 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with revenue exposure* Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, specifically ASC 606* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills* Experience with NetSuite and BI/forecasting tools (preferred)* Proven leadership and cross-functional influence* Preferred: 3–5+ years in SaaS or technology companies; prior audit experience* Active CPA license, preferred## ***ModMed Benefits Highlight:*** At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
