AHMG Radiology at Riverview - APRN or PA-C

Position Overview AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) Radiology at Riverview is hiring an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for a full‑time inpatient role. The provider will work under the supervision of collaborating physicians to manage radiology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key Responsibilities Perform physical examinations and evaluate radiology patients. Order appropriate diagnostic tests. Monitor patient progress and refer to physicians or specialists as needed. Collaborate with physician supervisors and staff to ensure consistent patient care. Maintain a caring and professional attitude at all times and pursue personal and professional growth. Build effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public. Provide care to both pediatric and adult patients. Rotate weekly between the LP Clinic (lumbar puncture, inpatient in Orlando) and IR Clinic (pre/post‑op care, no procedures). Schedule Monday – Friday Location: AH Riverview campus Qualifications Master’s degree in Physician Assistant or Nursing. Interventional radiology background preferred. LP and spine procedures experience preferred. Knowledge & Skills Establish and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Strong communication skills. Strong medical decision‑making abilities. Licensure & Certification Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license. Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other nationally recognized organization. BLS and ACLS required. Hospital Overview AdventHealth will open a new $250 million hospital in Riverview in 2024.
