A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel for Business Development. Key Responsibilities Lead the drafting and negotiation of partnership and strategic initiative agreements Provide legal counsel to the Business Development team on various agreements and opportunities Identify and mitigate legal and business risks through contract drafting and practical counseling Required Qualifications Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and an active bar license in at least one U.S. state 7+ years of commercial contracting experience in-house or at a reputable law firm 5+ years of insurance regulatory experience in-house or at a reputable law firm Expertise in property and casualty insurance and advising insurance entities Proven ability to deliver strategic legal advice under pressure and influence senior leaders
