Float Registered Nurse

Role: Provide high-acuity nursing care within the Med Surg Float Team, supporting complex patients and ensuring seamless coordination across clinical disciplines. Responsibilities Lead care for patients in Intermediate and Med/Surg units, utilizing specialized training in progressive care. Serve as the central contact for clinical teams, facilitating coordinated patient recovery. Monitor patient safety, document care accurately, and advocate for high-quality outcomes. Respond flexibly to hospital needs, offering expert support for high-acuity cases. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure from Wisconsin or a multi-state license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days; Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. 3+ years of nursing experience, with Med/Surg and progressive care training preferred. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and advocacy skills.
