Kali Protectives makes some of the most technologically advanced protective gear for riders, and we are now looking for an avid rider  wanting to join our sales team as an Inside Sales Representative, This is an in-house positions with remote considerations.

We are located within 5 to 45 minutes of some of the most epic riding in the Bay Area and you will be joining a team that is passionate about all things riding-related and about their company, products and services, what they do and how they get it done. Position Overview

The ideal Kali Protectives applicant could be someone with a desire and passion to get a foothold in the door for working in the cycling industry, or they may already be a seasoned inside sales professional with loads of customer experience and insight into the cycling industry. Either way, the ideal candidate(s) will help elevate Kali to the next level by actively and aggressively growing the brand’s presence and driving sales revenues in new and existing regions within a given territory. The work will include sales across retail channels, direct-to-consumer, bricks-and-mortar, and online.

The position(s) will be on the frontline, representing the brand to both consumers and retail partners, managing to an end-to-end sales program, providing daily customer service (including inbound and outbound calls), and tracking and reporting sales orders.

Responsibilities and Expectations

· Represent Kali Protectives with a comprehensive understanding (which can be learned over time) of our product line-up, service support offerings, company history, and culture.

· Own, manage, and grow your territory of dealers and customers.

· Execute against a strategic sales plan to identify and develop new dealer channels, grow our existing dealer base (i.e., customers), and provide exemplary service and support to all dealers within the assigned territory.

· Work and collaborate with an assigned outside sales team to optimize customer interactions and meet company objectives.

· Achieve or exceed monthly and yearly sales quotas and objectives.

· Where appropriate, utilize CRM system efficiently as a sales tool to manage accounts, contacts, leads and sales activities.

· Provide pre- and post-sale customer service, including but not limited to sales and technical inquiries.

· Provide input to the National Sales Manager and Marketing Director to help shape Sales & Marketing campaigns that grow revenue, increase market share, and enhance brand awareness.

· Share customer feedback with the product development and design team

· Coordinate with other Kali team members and departments to align and execute business-wide objectives.

· Passionate rider

· An understanding (or a desire to understand and be a part of) of the world of cycling and other outdoor sports. Bonus for having an understanding of the on/off-road motorcycling ethos and Search and Rescue.

· Highly self-motivated, able to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications

· 3 to 7+ years’ experience in a similar role, or a new graduate with a strong desire to build a long-term career in cycling-related sales.

· strong phone, teleconferencing and writing skills.

· Background in LBS and B2B sales preferred.

· A previous successful track record in managing or operating across the sales cycle from plan to close would be advantageous.

· Experience/working knowledge of CRM systems & accounting/inventory management software.

· Proficient in a cloud-based document environment (word processing, Excel spreadsheets, etc.)

Base Salary and Commission Range

· combined base salary and commissions, depending on experience and sales success.

Schedule

· Full-time Monday through Friday

· Additional nights or weekends and occasional travel may be required for face-to-face customer visits and special industry events.
