Mechanical Planner 1st Shift

What You'll Do: Order Planning: Plan orders using production resources and communication with Sales. ERP Management: Set B.O.M. and work routing through the shop in our ERP system (MS Dynamics AX). Order Tracking: Track orders through the Shop, expediting when necessary. Backorder Assistance: Assist with parts backorders and field questions for work in progress. Workflow Maintenance: Use MS Office Suite programs to maintain workflow. Shop Environment: Spend up to 20% of the time in the shop environment. What You’ll Bring: Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (related Majors also considered.) Experience: Preference will be given to applicants with experience with planning orders in a manufacturing industry Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and good communication in all tasks. Availability: Full-time, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed, adherence to attendance and company policies. Mechanical knowledge: Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting Reliability and accuracy: Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications. Your Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM To perform this job successfully, you must be able to report daily to the branch to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
