Job Summary

As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee daily front-of-house operations with composed professionalism, ensuring every detail of service reflects Mirbeau's high standards of hospitality. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the flow, operational efficiency, and refined atmosphere that defines our guests' elevated dining experiences. By leading with integrity and purpose, you'll inspire and support a team dedicated to delivering memorable, wellness-focused moments for every guest.

Pay Rate: $25-$30.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Service

o Lead and supervise the front-of-house team to consistently exceed guest expectations

o Ensure prompt, efficient, and elevated food and beverage service throughout all dining areas

o Greet spa and restaurant guests warmly using Forbes and Mirbeau-approved service language

o Maintain a thorough knowledge of current spa, dining, and room packages to support informed guest interactions

o Promote positive guest relations; address complaints, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and urgency

o Monitor guest flow, manage reservations, and optimize floor plans to enhance seating and service efficiency

o Maintain deep knowledge of all menu offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards

o Safely manage allergy-related requests and ensure all team members follow appropriate protocols

o Support event staff as needed to ensure seamless service across all guest experiences

• Team Leadership

o Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement

o Monitor staff appearance, demeanor, and professionalism to uphold Mirbeau's refined service standards

o Coach and support staff regularly to enhance performance and uphold service consistency

o Recognize strong performance and address concerns through timely, solutions-focused feedback

o Collaborate with HR and leadership on disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and fairness

o Assist with hiring and onboarding of FOH team members when necessary

o Cash out service staff at end of shifts, verifying sidework completion and proper close-out procedures

o Assign and oversee FOH staff sidework to ensure shift and service preparedness, cleanliness and consistency in all service areas

o Support staff with daily operational needs

• Operations & Administrative Duties

o Oversee daily FOH operations to maintain smooth service flow and guest satisfaction

o Maintain effective communication and coordination with kitchen and back-of-house teams

o Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless, resort-wide guest experiences

o Manage and review reservations for the [dining venue]

o Utilize the POS system for order entry, payment processing, corrections, voids, and end-of-day reporting

o Maintain POS expertise, including the entry of new menu items and system updates

o Organize, maintain, and ensure cleanliness of all FOH and service areas

o Monitor and adjust staffing levels based on business needs and forecasted volume

o Ensure proper sanitation and housekeeping throughout all F&B areas

o Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and events as required

o Ensure proper handling and reporting of guest accidents and safety-related incidents

o Recognize and manage potentially intoxicated, disruptive, or inappropriate guests with urgency and professionalism

o Support additional front-of-house or cross-departmental duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

• Education & Experience

o Associate's degree in restaurant or food service management or a minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment

o Experience in high-end or fine dining settings strongly preferred

o Comprehensive knowledge of the food & beverage industry

o Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays required
