About the Facility The construction of fairlife’s manufacturing facility in Webster, NY is underway. This state-of-the-art, 750,000 square foot greenfield plant is expected to be operational in late 2025 and will lay the foundation for fairlife’s next phase of growth as the leading dairy nutrition provider. Shift Schedule 12 Hour Days: This is a day shift position, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role follows a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule: two days on, two days off, three days on, then two days off, two days on and three days off. Team members will work every other weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Job Purpose Receive and load milk while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards. Hook up and unload tankers, run quality tests on milk and Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) tankers. Ensure the work area is kept clean and sanitary and perform regular sanitation within the raw milk receiving building. Responsibilities Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) rules. Keep the work center audit ready. Report to and follow the direction of Processing Supervisors. Ensure milk is received within specifications and meets all food safety and quality requirements. Inspect, document, and transfer products from supplier to designated raw material silo. Receive and load milk, byproducts, and filtration ingredients from tankers while maintaining high food quality and food safety standards. Test and document milk loads. Clean process equipment such as silos, lines and tankers, including hand cleaning, Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) and Clean‑Out‑of‑Place (COP) operations daily. Take accurate samples to monitor Clean‑In‑Place (CIP) system chemical concentration. Take accurate samples of products for QA testing. Monitor testing equipment and replace supplies as needed. Service pumps, valves and heat exchangers to maintain operational state per routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedule. Report immediately to maintenance and/or supervisor any damage, irregular activity, or unsafe condition concerning fairlife equipment, outside hauler equipment, and/or outside drivers. Follow escalation protocol based on production and quality triggers. Aid in training new personnel or upskilling team members. Effectively follow proper standard operating procedures (SOP). Complete every shift Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), Centerline (CL), and Clean‑Inspect‑Lubricate (CIL) tasks on time and accurately. Communicate with processing about any anticipated schedule delays and/or changes. Qualifications Must work safely and efficiently and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment. Ability to troubleshoot small problems and discern when issues may require input from levels of authority. Willingness to ask for assistance when the process is unclear. High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills at high school level. Basic computational skills and simple math reasoning. Ability to operate equipment effectively after the appropriate break‑in period. Must possess or be able to obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License. Proficiency in English; comfortable with written and verbal communication. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made. Sitting/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Carrying: The operator stands throughout their shift and walks on uneven concrete and tile surfaces. The operator lifts up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis; two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 100 pounds. Pushing/Pulling/Bending/Stooping: The operator occasionally pushes and pulls various objects, including empty pallets and brooms during cleanup. The operator will push/pull pipe‑fittings during hook up. The operator bends and stoops occasionally while servicing equipment and picking supplies. Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling/Twisting/Turning: The operator may squat when picking up supplies and during cleanup duties, including kneeling on the floor and crawling under equipment. Occasional twisting and turning at the waist while changing dryer lances or making CIP connections. Climbing/Balancing/Reaching: The operator occasionally climbs approved stairs or ladders. The operator reaches below shoulder level to pick up pipe‑fittings or while servicing pumps. May reach at or above shoulder level when making equipment adjustments. Grasping/Manipulation: Frequent use of hands and fingers required when servicing pumps, using scrub brushes, and connecting pipe‑fittings. The work environment may involve ambient temperatures as well as elevated temperatures up to 110°F due to equipment operation and cleaning. Food Safety Requirements Notify supervision of any repairs or adjustments that may affect product quality or food safety. Understand, observe, and comply with the handling and usage of the color‑coded container policy while in production areas. Perform all duties necessary to meet company, customer, and/or government requirements and standards. Initiate action to prevent nonconformities relating to food safety and product quality. Identify and record any problems relating to food safety and product quality. Control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition is corrected. In the event of absence, another employee with the same skill level will assume the duties and responsibilities as required. Position Details Location: Webster, NY. Reports to: Processing Supervisor.
