Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate preferred, ACLS preferred Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted 50-mile radius restriction Facility does not accept felony background hits or licensure action Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for a night shift position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Certifications required include BLS and NRP, with AWHONN Intermediate and ACLS being preferred. The nursing ratio will be 1:2. The role includes various responsibilities such as maternal obstetric care, well newborn care, and respiratory support and resuscitation. You will attend high-risk and premature deliveries, providing postpartum and couplet care. Nursing duties will also involve antepartum triage nursing and functioning as the OR circulator for Cesarean sections. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position. Candidates must be comfortable floating within the facility as needed. Availability to work some holidays and weekends is expected as part of the role.
