Behavior Health Therapist

Licensed Mental Health Counselor / Clinician / Therapist / Social Worker Licensed counselors and clinicians provide essential therapeutic care to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions Collaborate with clients to develop treatment plans and goals Implement behavioral interventions for specific challenges Utilize clinical research to inform treatment approaches and strategies Provide counseling and support for individuals with gender issues or chronic pain Incorporate art therapy, dance therapy, or other creative modalities as appropriate Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and adjust interventions Collaborate with other professionals (e.g., psychiatrists, special education teachers) for comprehensive care Qualifications Bachelor's or master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field Certification or licensure in behavioral therapy or related discipline (e.g., BCBA, LPC) / Licensed as LICSW, LCSW, LMHC Knowledge of psychopharmacology and its impact on behavior Familiarity with coding systems for insurance billing purposes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities Preferred: One year of social work experience Benefits Competitive salary ($38.00 - $42.00 per hour) Sign‑on bonus of $500 after 7 months of full‑time service (meeting hour requirement) 401(k) and matching Health insurance Paid time off Professional development and growth opportunities Work Details Job Types: Part‑time or Full‑time (23–35 hours per week) Schedule: Flexible shifts Setting: Hybrid remote, private practice Location: Hybrid remote in Stoughton, MA 02072 Submit your resume here and let’s schedule an interview Stoughton Counseling, Inc.
