Job Description

Premier Long Island Law Firm is looking for an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Department!

Responsibilities

Defend clients in labor and employment matters, including sexual harassment, discrimination, overtime, and failure-to-pay-wages claims.
Advise on management-side labor law, CBA negotiations, prevailing wage law, and withdrawal liability.
Handle general corporate and commercial transactions.
Maintain full client contact and develop effective legal strategies in collaboration with clients.
Attend court proceedings, government agency hearings, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.

Required Qualifications

Attorney with 2–15+ years of experience.
Experience in labor and employment law defense.
Ability to handle client contact, court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.
Ability to conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
Ability to work fully in the office.
