As a Security Officer - Full Time in East Dubuque, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report unusual activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring, people-first culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report concerns according to established protocols
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the site perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity
• Monitor for suspicious activity, access violations, chemical spills, fire hazards, and/or other unusual conditions and promptly notify designated personnel
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related activities through accurate reports and logs

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
