This is a hands-on role supporting core accounting processes, financial reporting, and day-to-day operations. The position is well-suited to someone looking to build and deepen their accounting expertise while contributing to a dynamic digital assets and financial services environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesPrepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliationsPrepare and record journal entriesRecord invoices and support the order-to-pay cycleAssist in the preparation of financial statements in line with US GAAPSupport treasury activities as neededAssist in preparing audit support and responding to auditor requestsSupport system implementations and upgrades, including accounting and finance ERPsQualificationsBachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-2 years of relevant accounting experienceCPA or progress toward CPA preferredExperience supporting financial reporting and close cycles preferredExperience in SaaS, software, or financial services environments preferredStrong attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approachAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with accounting/finance ERP (SAGE) systems highly desirableAndreessen Horowitz re: Talos: "The company best suited to drive institutional adoption is one that understands traditional capital markets deeply and is forward-thinking enough to fully grasp the promise of crypto.
