Gilead Sciences seeks an Executive Director of Global Benefits & Wellbeing to lead enterprise benefits strategy, design, and delivery across multiple countries. Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards, this leader oversees health, retirement, financial wellbeing, and leave programs while partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders to align offerings with organizational priorities and employee needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global benefits and wellbeing strategy aligned with business and talent objectives
- Lead health, welfare, retirement, financial wellbeing, and leave program design and continuous improvement
- Establish governance frameworks and oversee Benefits Center of Excellence operations
- Drive analytics-informed decisions using benchmarking, workforce insights, and vendor data
- Manage global benefits investments and strategic relationships with brokers and consultants
Requirements
- Strategic experience in global benefits program design and governance
- Leadership of cross-functional teams managing health, retirement, and wellbeing programs
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance across multiple countries
- Experience with benefits technology, analytics, and digital transformation
- Demonstrated vendor and broker relationship management capabilities
- Understanding of Total Rewards strategy and employee value proposition
