The Gardens at Gettysburg, a skilled nursing facility in Gettysburg, PA, is seeking a dependable Morning Cook to join our Dietary Department. If you enjoy preparing quality meals, supporting seniors, and being part of a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!

Position Details

• Full-Time

• Morning Shift

• Additional afternoon hours may be available based on department needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary needs

• Follow standardized recipes, special diet orders, and proper portion control

• Ensure meals are prepared and served in a timely manner

• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

• Assist with kitchen cleanup and organization

• Maintain kitchen equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition

• Assist the dietary team with meal service and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Prior experience in a healthcare, school, dietary, or food service setting is a plus

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Dependable and committed to providing quality service to residents
