Day Shift starting time between 4:30 AM - 5:00 AM
Essential Job Functions:
- Counts currency or ticket vouchers from slot machines which has been transported to the count room.
- Assists in pushing/pulling loaded carts into the count rooms.
- Lifts currency from cart, sorts and inserts currency into counting equipment.
- Wraps money and verifies totals.
- Completes required accounting paperwork.
- Follows strict policies and procedures related to the handling of assets.
- Keeps Count Rooms Manager informed of all pertinent information regarding count room activities and irregularities.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One (1) to two (2) years money handling experience required.
- Aptitude and ability to count large sums currency.
- Must be able to perform computer input and operate ten-key adding machine.
- Ability to communicate with team members and guests
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
Physical and Mental Demands:
- Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
- Frequent grasping, squeezing and handling of money and bundles
