This role will enable accurate, timely, and insightful fixed asset accounting and reporting that supports business decisions, compliance, and value creation. Partner across the organization to solve problems, leverage technology and AI, continuously improve processes, and deliver insights that help the business succeed.What You Will DoOwn the integrity of fixed asset accounting, reporting, and financial controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company economic principles, including monthly close activities, reconciliations, and compliance with quarterly and annual reporting requirementsProvide accurate fixed asset reporting, analytics, depreciation forecasts, and recommendations that support business planning, decision-making, and value creationOversee the full lifecycle of turnaround spend, ensuring accurate tracking, capitalization, reporting, analysis, and continuous process improvementBuild trusted partnerships across accounting, tax, operations, compliance, and other capabilities to solve problems, influence decisions, and identify opportunities to create valueLead and contribute to cross-functional initiatives by applying analytical thinking, economic decision-making, and sound business judgment to deliver resultsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve, automate, and scale fixed asset processes through AI, technology, and data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve business outcomesExpand your ownership by developing new capabilities, sharing knowledge, and helping build individual and team capability while creating sustainable value across fixed asset processesWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)3+ years of accounting or tax experienceThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorshipWhat Will Put You AheadBachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting and/or FinancePrevious tax, audit, or fixed assets experiencePrevious experience with fixed assets accounting softwareExperience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or Power BIExperience using pivot tables in MS Excel and/or experience querying data and building macros in MS AccessAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
