Obtain and evaluate vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, rebates, and vendor agreements. Issue and manage purchase orders and ensure timely fulfillment. Work with internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed. Inventory & Vendor Management Maintain appropriate inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment. Monitor usage trends, backorders, and emergency orders. Conduct inventory audits and help reduce excess inventory and stockouts. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and distributors. Evaluate vendor performance and resolve pricing, delivery, quality, and invoice issues. Identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. Operations Support Work closely with managers, field supervisors, warehouse personnel, and service teams to understand material needs. Support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, warehouse, and fleet operations with procurement needs. Assist with large project and equipment purchases. Maintain accurate purchasing records and vendor documentation. Prepare purchasing and inventory reports for management. Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and reduce costs. Qualifications 3+ years of procurement, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with inventory management systems and purchasing software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred: Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or home services. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, plumbing materials, and electrical components. Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory controls. Experience negotiating supplier contracts and pricing agreements.
