As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security‑related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule Friday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Saturday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sunday 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Deliver customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security‑related presence. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized access. Document observations and incidents according to post orders and Allied Universal procedures. Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or patients, providing assistance and information as needed. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full‑time roles when available Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or security‑related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
