Salina Regional Health Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its Oncology team. This full-time day shift position involves safely administering prescribed radiation therapy treatments, performing radiotherapy simulations, and supporting high-quality patient care while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles. Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiation treatments safely and accurately.
- Perform radiation therapy simulations and treatment procedures.
- Operate radiation therapy equipment.
- Follow ALARA radiation safety standards.
- Maintain accurate treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and the oncology team.
- Assist with implementing new treatment techniques and technologies.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered oncology care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiation Therapy Technology program
- Registered or registry-eligible Radiation Therapist
- Minimum 1 year of clinical Radiation Therapy experience
- Kansas Radiologic Technology License
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days if permitted)
Pay
- Hourly Pay: $33–$49/hour (based on education and experience)
- Annual Salary: $69,000–$103,000
- $15,000 Sign-On Bonus (2-year service agreement)
- Up to $5,000 Relocation Assistance
