About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide visionary leadership and strategic direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall performance and financial success of the organization, with a focus on driving sustainable growth and strengthening customer relationships in the maritime industry. Key responsibilities for the CEO include executive leadership, business development, operational oversight, financial management, technical and industry leadership, safety and compliance, and talent development. The role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the marine repair industry, shipyard operations, and a strong background in mechanical propulsion systems. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marine engineering, naval architecture, business administration, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced business degree preferred. A minimum of 15 years' executive leadership experience in the maritime industry is required, along with a proven track record in leading profitable engineering or industrial service organizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ship repair, marine engineering, and propulsion systems, and possess strong commercial acumen with a background in developing strategic customer relationships.
