What You'll Do

As a Hygiene Dental Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting our dental hygienists, keeping appointments running smoothly, and creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist dental hygienists with daily clinical operations and patient care

• Prepare and turn over hygiene treatment rooms between appointments

• Set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed for hygiene procedures

• Take dental X-rays in accordance with certification requirements

• Sterilize instruments and follow proper infection control and safety protocols

• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visits

• Support patient education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care

• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation

• Keep hygiene treatment rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked

• Help maintain efficient patient flow and support the hygiene team's daily schedule

• Collaborate with hygienists, dentists, and other team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered care

What We're Looking For

• Previous dental assisting experience

• Current dental X-ray certification, as required by state regulations

• Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization techniques

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment

• A dependable, positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• A passion for providing excellent patient care

• Willingness to learn, grow, and develop professionally
