Job Responsibilities

Physical Demand:

The P2001 press produces many different parts using multiple dies. The employees perform a unique task for each part. The most strenuous tasks are listed below.

Horizontal lift (Frequently) 35# to lift a stack of 3 rails off the end waist high conveyer belt.

Low lift (Frequently) 35# to lower and place the stack of rails in the storage bin.

Torso twist, forward bend, and reach (Frequently) During the process of moving the rails the employee twists at the waist, bends, and reaches to slot the rails in the correct spot.

Push/Pull (Occasionally) 60# to move the full storage bins to the fork lift pick up spot.

Standing tolerance, vision, and hearing (Continuously)
