Job Summary:
As an individual contributor on the seasonal rooftop team at Arlo Williamsburg, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and service to our guests. This position is full-time OR part time and includes a competitive salary and benefits package. Located in Brooklyn, New York, Arlo Williamsburg offers a vibrant and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development in the hospitality industry.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $11.35 to $25 per hour, paid weekly
- Seasonal, full time and part positions with the potential for extension based on performance

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with seating, taking orders, and serving food and drinks
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized rooftop area, including tables, chairs, and decor
- Prepare and serve drinks from the rooftop bar
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
- Work closely with other departments, including kitchen staff, to ensure seamless service
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Attend and participate in training sessions and team meetings
- Stay updated on menu items and daily specials
- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid alcohol serving certification
- Knowledge of New York City and its surrounding areas is a plus
