We are seeking a qualified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to provide patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to floating within different units as needed. Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, monitoring, and administering medications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in the EMR system.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control procedures, and compliance standards.
- Float within hospital units as needed to ensure optimal patient coverage.
- Maintain certification and licensure requirements at all times.
- Hold a valid state or compact nursing license.
- Possess at least 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience.
- Maintain current BLS certification.
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) on a 13-week contract.
- Have reliable references from supervisory roles within the past two years.
- Gain experience in a dynamic hospital environment with diverse patient cases.
