Forklift Operator - Temp-to-Hire

Location: Carrollton, TX
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule: Day and night shifts available
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Link Staffing has partnered with a rapidly growing, family-owned Texas distillery seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators . This opportunity offers competitive pay, stable full-time hours, potential overtime, and long-term career growth.

Available Schedules

Sunday-Tuesday, Days: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM; Wednesday, 6:00 AM-12:00 PM
Sunday-Tuesday, Nights: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM; Wednesday, 6:00 PM-12:00 AM
Thursday-Saturday, Days: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM; Wednesday, 12:00 PM-6:00 PM
Thursday-Saturday, Nights: 6:00 PM-6:00 AM; Wednesday, 12:00 AM-6:00 AM

Important: Candidates must be available to train on first shift from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM for approximately 2-5 days .

Responsibilities

Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
Create and receive transfer orders using NetSuite/Oracle WMS
Pick, pack, kit, prepare, and stage orders for delivery or customer pickup
Receive and inspect incoming materials against shipping documentation
Store materials and equipment in their designated locations
Process returned materials and equipment according to company procedures
Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report any issues
Maintain accurate inventory and system records
Keep the facility clean, organized, secure, and safe
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

Minimum of two years of verifiable sit-down forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience with NetSuite/Oracle, AS400, SAP, or another WMS/ERP system
Strong computer skills
Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to bend, lift light-to-medium materials, and perform repetitive tasks
Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity
