Position Summary Sam’s Club #4875 located at 3055 Bear Creek Dr, Wentzville, MO 63385-3502 seeks a Produce Team Member to maintain high quality, fresh fruits and vegetables for members and their families. The role focuses on ensuring availability, cleanliness, and freshness while providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive shopping experience. What you’ll do Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of produce products, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate peers, and flexibly support other areas to keep inventory in stock and control shrinkage. Be an Expert: Understand quality specifications for produce, prepare items (trim, crisp, package, scale) to established standards, maintain product safety and sanitation, and follow applicable regulations. Be a Techie: Use digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement. Operate handheld technology to make real‑time decisions regarding production, training, and quality. Be an Owner: Drive area performance by managing inventory, ensuring quality and date control, eliminating waste, and providing customer‑centric service. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department, model high‑quality service, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the role. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and related action plans. Complete work assignments, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older.
