NRT Bus | Fitchburg, MA School Bus Driver (Part‑Time) Pay & Schedule Pay: $30.90/hour (effective 8/24/2026) Paid Training: $20/hour Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours Why Drive with NRT Paid CDL training — no experience required Attendance bonuses + referral bonus program Consistent hours, consistent pay Opportunities for extra hours (charters & activity trips) Part‑time benefits package: Dental, vision, 401(k), and more Supportive, safety‑first work environment Make a real impact in your local community What You’ll Do Safely transport students to and from school and events Drive assigned local routes Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections Maintain a clean, safe vehicle Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies Requirements CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain — we train!) Valid DOT medical card — or able to obtain one Safe driving record Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience Ability to pass background check & drug screening Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written) Ideal Candidates Retirees & former professionals: Use your leadership skills to manage a mobile environment without corporate stress.
