Job Title: Physician - Oncology

Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accept part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
• Be Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Practice primarily outpatient oncology; no inpatient consults.
• Manage an average of 10-15 patients per day in a free-standing cancer center.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including radiation oncology onsite.
• Participate in a 1:4 call schedule, primarily for critical lab calls.
• Engage in leading-edge clinical trials and innovative treatment approaches.
• Provide comprehensive cancer care in a state-of-the-art facility.
• Contribute to a family-oriented environment and supportive community.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
• Experience in Radiation Oncology or a recent graduate with a strong academic background is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care.
• Clean malpractice history and background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain.
• BLS certification or the willingness to obtain.
• NPDB self-query report required within 30 days of application.
• DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
