Mortgage Loan Officer

Mortgage Loan Originator-Tulsa and Oklahoma City Job Location Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK Position Type Full Time Description Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers.
- Educate customers on various mortgage products, interest rates, and lending options.
- Review customers' financial information to determine the most suitable mortgage solution.
- Analyze credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents to determine eligibility.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and changes in lending guidelines.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on loan origination activities.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and marking initiatives.
- Prepare and review loan documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local mortgage lending regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, general business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mortgage loan origination.
- Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license following state and federal regulations.
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Proficient in using mortgage software and related technology tools.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure of deadlines.
- All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment background, credit, and drug screening
- Must exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- Standing for long periods.
