Data Entry Specialist

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Specialist with strong Microsoft Excel skills to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining critical company data within our databases and Excel spreadsheets. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail and a solid understanding of Excel functions to help organize and analyze information effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Input: Accurately enter data from multiple sources into Excel spreadsheets and internal systems.
• Data Verification: Review and verify data for accuracy, identifying and correcting errors, duplicates, or inconsistencies before finalizing reports.
• Spreadsheet Management: Create, format, and maintain complex Excel worksheets, ensuring data is organized logically using tables, filters, and sorting.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excel Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, including:
• Data formatting, sorting, and filtering.
• Familiarity with core formulas and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, COUNTIF, SUMIFS).
• Basic knowledge of Pivot Tables
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor discrepancies and anomalies in large datasets.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with other office software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Word).
