Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Michigan
• Experience in assessment, consultation, and intervention with K-12 students
• Strong understanding of cognitive, academic, social, and emotional development
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, parents, and students
• Ability to adapt to varied caseloads and work independently as well as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Comfortable working onsite in a school-based setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students’ educational and emotional needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with another psychologist to effectively manage and split the caseload
• Provide direct support and counseling to K-12 students
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that promote academic and behavioral success
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with school and state regulations
• Participate in student support team meetings to recommend evidence-based interventions
