Commercial Construction Project Manager – Healthcare Responsibilities Maintain adherence to HITT’s standards of safety and ensure required documentation is filed. Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects. Develop and collaborate on pre‑construction RFP packages. Conduct project meetings, set milestones, and formulate monthly owner reports. Establish job processes (RFIs, submittals, pay applications) and approve pay applications while negotiating subcontract change orders. Perform project scheduling, ensure quality control, and establish overall project logistics. Manage the closeout process efficiently. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how HITT services can meet those needs. Supervise assistant operations support roles such as assistant project managers, administrative assistants, MEP managers, and safety team members. Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project. Qualifications High school diploma required; a four‑year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred. In lieu of a degree, additional work experience may be considered. Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including work with a commercial general contractor. Prior project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with sector/project‑specific software (Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards). Mastery in reading, interpreting, and updating construction drawings. Ability to organize resources (people, tools, time) to meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of current market conditions, pricing conventions, and trends.
