Senior Product Manager, Oncology Research Solutions – Responsible for developing customer‑focused strategy and execution of tactical actions to drive revenue growth and product innovation in oncology research areas within the Abcam portfolio. The role infuses customer, application and market expertise into collaborations with marketing, commercial, digital, manufacturing, and R&D functions. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Define a research‑focused level strategy at short, mid, and long‑term horizons in line with portfolio strategy and translate it into tactical actions for direct execution. Develop and refine expertise in the assigned research area, markets, customers, and competitors; articulate insights to inform strategy, new product development, go‑to‑market, manufacturing, quality, and other key activities. Ensure customer‑focused initiatives align with portfolio goals and contribute to both short‑term and long‑term growth objectives. Implement and support go‑to‑market activities across all channels, including digital (SEO, image data), field (training), custom product assessment/pricing, and promotion development. Manage product life cycle, pricing strategy, KPI selection and monitoring, and portfolio curation through data analysis that drives insights. Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and stakeholders to gather insights and strengthen product positioning. Share best practices to elevate team capabilities and cross‑functional collaboration. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include BA, BSc or equivalent in a life science or related field with 5+ years of post‑educational experience in product/portfolio management, R&D or a related area. Strong business acumen and knowledge of the life science market with a track record of driving business priorities across multiple channels and organizational levels. Analytical mindset for data‑driven decision making, including experience applying data to pricing, performance monitoring, and translating complex findings into actionable insights. Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills, with proven project management and process improvement experience. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. Preferred If You Also Possess Experience with advanced analysis/visualization tools such as Tableau. Relevant advanced degree (Ph.D., MD, MBA). Experience working with a global team and supporting customers across diverse global market environments. Compensation & Benefits The annual salary range for this role is $130,000–$150,000, with eligibility for bonus/incentive pay.
