Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2160 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Experience caring for acute care stroke patients.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chemo experience is a plus.

Special Requests: Block scheduling available.

Unit Details: Unit secretaries 6 AM-10 PM; techs available on all shifts. Uses iPhones for communication via iMobile app; computers/scanners in every room.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating weekends.

Floating Requirements: Will float to other Med-Surg and Tele units.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
