Boxing Dept 10:45am- 8:30 Mon through Thursday occasional Fridays $18.54 per hour

Map Dept 7:30am- 6pm Mon-Thursday occasional Fridays $19.57 per hour

Packing 6:30am-6:30pm Mon- Thurs occasional Fridays $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Packer

Obtain various vegetarian products from staging areas and position pallets, racks, buggies, totes etc to appropriate packaging line, prepare line and product packaging, load chubbers, remove rods of links from racks feed links to peelers, fill totes/bins with product, break-up frozen product, change film rolls, assemble machine parts as needed, hand pick appropriate product into pouches/cartons according to work orders, visually monitor and inspect packaging, check weights, wipe seals and remove non-conforming item to rework bins, keep the work area clear and clean, wipe down the machine and place trash in proper receptacles. At the end of the shift perform general housekeeping, breakdown machine parts for cleaning, weigh unused film sanitize marinator and secure all equipment.

Boxing

Position pallets of case blanks, carton blanks, tape and other supplies to appropriate line positions with pallet jack, Set up change over boxing lines, assemble machine parts, adjust controls according to work order, fill taper, check 1st run samples.

Load from conveyor into Cartons or Cases, place non conforming or over stocked product into blue bags, load cartons into cartonning machine, monitor and check codes, clear jams, take samples, stack pallets according to appropriate stack patterns, move full pallets to staging area with power jack, wrap and label as required.

Tempeh

Obtain proper tools and utensils needed to perform production, set up production line, assemble machine parts, piping, pumps, load ingredients begin production. Cook Area (Pump liquid ingredients from storage tanks to cook pots, manually add bags/scoops/containers of ingredients, monitor cooking process, pump cooked batch to extractor), Extractor-Mixer Area (Monitor filling of extractor with new batch from cook pots, when basket is full close and secure lid, start extraction cycle and monitor, when extraction is complete, open lid and manually scoop product in to the mixer hopper, add liquid ingredients to mixer and monitor mixing process). Pack Area (monitor bagging process, check bag weights and replace bag rolls as required, remove full bags from turntable conveyor, position appropriate number of bags to try according to work order. Use tamping device to level full try of bags to proper specifications. Place finished try on bakery rack, move full racks to incubator room. Keep work area clear and clean, wipe down machine and place trash in proper receptacle

MAP

MAP–Blend (dump bags/boxes of ingredients in to buggy, load full buggies/vats onto hydraulic lift, secure and dump ingredients into blender hopper.) Cutter (check recipe, set machine controls and start cutter. Receive buggies of blended product to verify contents according to recipe. Manually add bags of soy powder and other ingredients to the buggies. Weigh out liquid ingredients and add to mixture.) Linker (Fill caser machine with appropriate casing, position empty rack to linker conveyor, obtain barrel of rods and ties. Monitor the stuffing and linking process and make adjustments. Move racks to cookhouse staging area when full.) Packer (Obtain case of packets, hand pack product into packet and place on trays, stack full trays on bakery rack. move full racks to staging areas, remove cooked product from oven conveyor and place on try.)

Sani–Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations, ensure all necessary tools, equipment, supplies and materials are available in staging areas, Lock-Out production equipment, cover electrical equipment with plastic bags/wrap, collect waste and other material from floor, disassemble production equipment, conveyors, hoppers and other machinery. Manually pull, scrape, wipe shovel and dump waste into tubs. Rinse conveyor belts, rollers, hoppers, buckets, tubs, etc. Obtain chemicals from storage area fill and prepare foamer, manually apply chemicals to appropriate machinery, tools and equipment. Scrub machinery, tools, and equipment rinse with pressure hose and apply sanitizer, with spray as required. Re-assemble machine parts and equipment, manually dry equipment, replace guards, remove plastic wrap and unlock equipment.
