Purchasing Specialist

Requisition Number: 32113 Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408 About The Role We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). You will manage and maintain existing purchase orders, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution. You will support special projects such as identifying and resolving past-due purchase orders, data cleanup, validation activities and preparing the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) system for the transition to GEP. You will report to the onsite manager. Key Responsibilities Create purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely processing. Manage and maintain existing POs, including updates, confirmations, and issue resolution. Support special projects, such as identifying past-due POs, performing data cleanup and validation activities, and preparing the SRM system for transition to GEP. Collaborate with internal teams – procurement, planning, finance, and suppliers – to ensure smooth purchasing workflows. Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and reporting. Help with process improvements and standardization efforts across the supply chain function. Qualifications Experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables). Comfortable working with ERP, SRM, or procurement systems. Helpful Qualifications Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools. Familiarity with GEP or similar procurement platforms. Benefits Competitive pay: $25.00/hr to $30.00/hr, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.
