The Radar team is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to transform ambitious concepts into manufacturable reality for the next generation of US radars. The Radar team is responsible for all aspects of radar system development, from the ideation stage through initial production. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary technical team to design high-speed mixed-signal architectures and circuits, manage signal integrity in complex PCBs, and mature prototypes into products.About The JobWhat You'll DoDesign combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power architecturesDesign embedded electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integrationTroubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging toolsWork with modern SoCs and networking hardware to build Anduril platformsWork closely with firmware/software engineers for processor/peripheral selection, board bring up, and troubleshooting.Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional productsWork in a fast-paced environment, having to juggle multiple concurrent projects and customers.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex hardware, embedded systems, and productsDemonstrated experience with multi-gigabit SERDES, DDR memory busses, Ethernet MAC and PHY interfaces, FPGAs, and common communication busses like SPI and I2CExperience with microprocessor and microcontroller selection, configuration, and interfacingExperience with component, schematic capture, high speed board design, and guiding PCB layout.Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, sprectrum/network analyzers, and automation of testsFamiliarity with product development processes and toolsKnowledge of embedded software development, including use of timers, interrupts, hardware peripherals such as SPI controllers and ADCsExperience with signal integrity and power integrity rules and simulationExceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral)Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design toolsFamiliar with common programming languages like Python for test automation.Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret Security ClearancePreferred QualificationsFamiliar with RF design and layoutPast experience with placement and routing of PCBsExperience with JESD204 and PCIeFamiliarity with military standards (MIL-STD-461/704/1275)Experience with high speed ADC/DAC's and software defined radiosWe request transcripts as part of the early application process to understand your academic background and how your coursework supports the skills deemed critical for the role.
