Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk)

Upperline Health is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and driven Patient Care Coordinator to support our physicians and care teams in delivering an outstanding patient experience. This role is primarily based in our Bel Air clinic and serves as a key connection between patients and providers. Patient Care Coordinators play an essential role in ensuring patients feel welcomed, informed, and prepared for their visits. Key responsibilities include serving as the front desk representative, ensuring accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection, assisting with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries, maintaining on-time clinic flow, retrieving, scanning, updating, and maintaining patient records in the EMR, collecting patient payments and assisting with billing-related questions, managing office supply inventory, protecting patient privacy, supporting clinic operations, and traveling to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required.

Qualifications include experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role, prior podiatric or orthopedic practice experience, medical billing and coding experience, experience using an EMR system, strong communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, exceptional customer service, reliable transportation, and a patient-first mindset.

This position includes regular desk and computer work combined with frequent patient interaction. Extended periods of standing and occasional lifting of items over five pounds may be required. The clinic environment is climate-controlled with moderate noise levels.
