The role centers on delivering essential services to a secondary-level caseload, including providing mentorship and supervision for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Washington Occupational Therapist license required
• Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to start
• Demonstrated experience in school-based OT settings, preferably with secondary-age students
• Proven ability to supervise and support COTAs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborations with staff, families, and students
• Excellent time management and organization to handle a varied caseload onsite

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and provide occupational therapy services in alignment with students’ individual education programs
• Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring quality and compliance in services delivered
• Document progress and maintain records in accordance with school and state policies
• Participate in team meetings, providing input and advocacy for students
• Collaborate with other school professionals to support student outcomes in diverse learning environments
