About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience; First-time travelers accepted License: Must hold a current nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Must be comfortable with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix, and heparin. Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias is required. Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation. Patient ratios are 1:5-6. Floating to other telemetry units is required. Weekend requirement includes 4 weekend days in a 6-week time frame. Patient diagnoses may include chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemakers, or defibrillators. Candidates should exhibit teamwork and adhere to behavioral expectations in all patient and staff interactions. Must be able to follow strict call-off policies. Flexibility to float within or near the facility is necessary. Candidates will be required to complete EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed before beginning the job. Modules will be conducted online and require the use of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as the browser.
