Our Supply Chain team plays a critical role in ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to support the technologies that keep aircraft connected around the globe.As our Senior Buyer, you’ll lead purchasing activities that ensure timely delivery of materials while supporting new product introductions and ongoing production requirements. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Logistics, and suppliers to manage supplier performance, drive material readiness, and support successful product launches and manufacturing operations.If you’re someone who excels at building supplier relationships, solving complex supply chain challenges, and maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to meet you.What You’ll DoManage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure quality, delivery, cost, and operational objectives are achievedLead sourcing activities by issuing RFQs, negotiating pricing and commercial terms, and placing purchase orders to support business requirementsPartner with Engineering, Production, Quality, and suppliers to ensure materials and documentation are available to meet project and production schedulesManage material readiness efforts for new product introductions and support smooth transitions into productionCoordinate vendor onboarding activities for approved vendor list (AVL) suppliersCreate and maintain clear-to-build reports, identify material shortages, and escalate risks as neededManage Engineering Change Order (ECO) implementation across purchase orders and supplier commitmentsMonitor supplier deliveries and proactively communicate risks to stakeholdersIdentify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiencyContribute to supply chain initiatives and special projects that support broader organizational goalsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience5–7 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within electronics, aviation, aerospace, defense, or related manufacturing industriesDemonstrated experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement activitiesExperience with revision-controlled parts and product lifecycle management within regulated manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and change implementation processesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience leveraging data for decision-making and performance trackingEven Better If You HaveYou don’t need to check every box below.
