Network Security & Governance Consultant

Salary: $130,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• We hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a closely related discipline; professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, PCNSE, CCNP Security, or AWS/Azure Security are preferred.
• We bring 6+ years of experience in cloud security, network security, or a similar field.
• We have hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, along with the related security tools and services.
• We understand cloud security frameworks, automation approaches, and cloud networking best practices.
• We have scripting and automation experience, including Python, PowerShell, or Terraform.
• We have strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• We are familiar with network security technologies, SDR, cloud networking, gateways, and firewalls.
• We communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and solve problems well.
• We are legally eligible to work in the stated location and can meet the work authorization requirements for the role.

• We develop, implement, and sustain security strategies for perimeter protection, network segmentation, network access control, CASB, and public cloud security aligned to our risk and compliance goals.
• We design and deploy automated security controls and monitoring capabilities to improve efficiency, consistency, and response speed across cloud and endpoint environments.
• We perform risk-based assessments for new and existing cloud and network solutions, identify exposures, and recommend mitigation actions.
• We build, integrate, and maintain security services for cloud and network platforms.
• We ensure cloud and network environments meet internal security standards and regulatory obligations, while managing audits, reporting, and continuous monitoring.
• We review infrastructure-as-code, system designs, and technical architectures, then advise engineering teams on remediation and secure design.
• We partner with security and IT teams to connect cloud and network security with broader security operations.
• We help develop and deliver training that strengthens data protection practices and security awareness across the organization.
• We design secure cloud network architectures that can scale with business growth and high demand.
