Minimal overnight stays may be required. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Position Purpose The Sales Representative position offers an exciting chance to fuel our company’s growth. You’ll oversee a broad array of independent convenience store customers, driving sales through our varied foodservice and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. The role is a thrilling journey of building success stories and enhancing profitability store by store, with compensation directly reflecting these achievements. Responsibilities Grow sales and profit margins through execution of sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers. Prospect and onboard new customer accounts, including cold‑calling to build a robust pipeline of opportunities. Educate customers on convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities. Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports with the store manager and assist with opportunities that may arise. Minimize accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and following up on any issues. Maintain awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for products, to ensure competitive pricing. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to increased sales. Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities. Perform additional duties as assigned. The Ideal Candidate Proven success with closing B2B sales for a variety of product lines. Strong sales ledger travel and effective time‑management experience. General knowledge of food safety standards, including basic HACCP practice and cold‑chain integrity, and must maintain Serv‑Safe certification. Detail‑minded and organized, able to work independently with little direction. Strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to conduct professional, results‑driven customer presentations. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI. Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit. Sales professional with experience and a track record of growing market share. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required.
