Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Conduct assessments, documentation, and medication administration
• Perform wound care, splinting, and IV insertions
• Collect urine samples and perform lab draws
• Provide care for ESI levels 1 to 5 patients

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Level II or Level III trauma experience
• TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications
• Greater than two years of emergency department experience
• CEN or TCRN, CPI preferred
