Temp-Hire.

Job Description:

Responsible for performing receiving inspection, inprocess inspection, and final inspection activities and documenting the results; gage R&R studies, training and maintaining records as required. Responsible for creating capability studies, FAI, ISIR type documents; customer return evaluations, process and continuous improvement activities.
Responsible for DCC CMM programming to create and maintain programs for inspector/operator use. Creation of fixturing needed for the CMM operation. Also, trains operators in the set up, and use of the available programs to inspect parts.
Responsible for identifying and ordering measurement and inspection equipment, backup to the calibration Quality Technician, and associated recordkeeping.
Performs Capability Studies and Inspection Layouts as needed to support Customers, Engineering, and Quality activities. Ability to evaluate capability studies.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

Must have knowledge of specific measuring and optical equipment; electrical measurements; familiar with computer usage; and ISO9001 Business Management Systems.
Responsible for DCC CMM programming, fixturing and setup.
GD&T Knowledge, blue print reading, SPC knowledge
Training others on basic DCC CMM operation
Capability studies, first piece inspection, Gage R&R,
Perform mechanical and electrical inspections of products and purchased parts that are at incoming, inprocess, final or returned from customers.
Self motivated, organized, mechanical minded, ability to take direction, manage multiple tasks at once, and good communication skills.
