FIREFIGHTER / PARAMEDIC Employment Opportunity The Board of Fire Commissioners of the Northwest Homer Fire Protection & Ambulance Service District are seeking applicants to establish an eligibility list for Full-time Firefighter/Paramedics Applicants must be high school graduates or equivalent: must be at least 21 to 35 years of age unless otherwise exempt by statute and licensed EMT-B. Upon offer of employment, Illinois Certified Firefighter Basic, Illinois Licensed Paramedic, and CPAT Certified (current within last 12 months) Applicants shall be subjected to a background check, and medical examination post offer of employment.
